About the Journal
The Scientific Journal of Sharia Sciences is a peer-reviewed, open-access, semi-annual journal issued by the Faculty of Sharia Sciences at Elmergib University. It is dedicated to publishing the latest research and studies in various fields of Sharia. Established in 2015, it serves as a platform for researchers, students, university professors, and academics to publish their studies and scientific papers in Arabic.
The journal aims to be a beacon of knowledge and scientific research, contributing to enriching academic dialogue and providing innovative solutions to contemporary issues. It strives to offer a distinguished platform for researchers and academics to publish their original, peer-reviewed work characterized by depth, accuracy, and innovation, with a particular focus on emerging issues in Sharia fields.
The journal is committed to the highest standards of scientific integrity and double-blind peer review to ensure the quality and reliability of its content. It invites researchers from various disciplines of Sharia sciences to submit contributions aligned with the journal’s mission and objectives, in order to contribute to building human knowledge and serving the academic community.
The journal does not impose any fees on researchers for submission, review, or publication, in support of open scientific research and the dissemination of knowledge.

The Scientific Journal of Sharia Sciences is dedicated to publishing peer-reviewed research and scholarly studies in the fields of Sharia Sciences in the Arabic language. Through its publishing procedures, the Editorial Board ensures that all published works adhere to the rigorous standards of academic research, including clarity of the research problem, originality, objectivity, and other essential components of sound scientific inquiry. The Editorial Board also strives to elevate intellectual and religious discourse in order to address contemporary challenges within the framework of both Sharia and academic standards.
The journal also welcomes the publication of scholarly research in Arabic language studies directly related to Sharia Sciences, such as Qur’anic readings, Islamic education, comparative studies between Sharia and law, and similar fields. In all such works, the Sharia dimension must remain the predominant focus.
Furthermore, the journal provides a platform for publishing critical reviews of newly released books in the fields of Sharia Sciences and Islamic thought—particularly significant and contemporary international works.
It also welcomes reports on conferences and scientific symposia within its scope, highlighting their objectives, themes, concise summaries of the most important papers presented, and key recommendations, while ensuring that the report specifies the title, venue, and date of the event
