The research concludes with a summary of findings, followed by a bibliography of primary and secondary sources.
This research aims to achieve two primary objectives: first, illustrating the
significance of Fiqh al-Mizan (the Jurisprudence of Balance) by defining its
foundational principles; and second, extracting and articulating forty core
maxims along with their practical applications. Due to the extensive nature of
these rules. The researcher consolidated them into forty essential maxims, providing
illustrative examples for each to ensure clarity and conciseness.
The study is structured into an introduction and four main chapters:
- Chapter One: Focuses on the conceptual maxims, importance, and pillars of
Fiqh al-Mizan (10 maxims).
- Chapter Two: Covers maxims related to creed ('Aqidah), acts of worship
('Ibadat), and social/financial transactions (Mu'amalat) (8 maxims).
- Chapter Three: Examines maxims for engaging with Quranic and Prophetic
scriptural texts (10 maxims).
- Chapter Four: Details maxims governing legal edicts (Fatwa) and Islamic
outreach (Dawah) (12 maxims).
he research concludes with a summary of key findings and a comprehensive
bibliography of primary and secondary sources.
